I love seeing technological and cultural challenges solved by the application of good design, and its transformative effect on business and organisations. I have an insatiable appetite for problem-solving and a proven track record with complex and nuanced projects on both agency and client-side.

MODE specialises in high-end bespoke garden buildings for year-round use. My role is B2C Sales (60%+ Conversion), 3D Designer & Marketing Director. 

Nimbus provides high-spec web hosting for digital agencies. Continously improved the platform’s user interface (NPS improvement from 6 to 8.5), led marketing team’s creative output, initiated & oversaw company rebrand.

Developed online product configurator. Defined unique value proposition, created brand strategy, revamped global brand identity. Work resulted in 4x increase in global web traffic, 8x conversion rate, return to revenue growth and winning back key global accounts including BMW and PSA Group.

Pioneered subscription-based customised explainer videos, continuously updated as technology and government incentive schemes changed.

Digital design and content creation for clients including EDF, Plumb Center, Carillion, Saint Gobain, WWF, PEW, ETI, REA, DECC + SMEs in Renewable Energy, Marine Conservation and Clean Tech.

Product concepts & branding including a modular football training device, space heating system, and inter-pub digital quiz system. Clients included Swatch, Habitat, Whitbread.

Designed end-to-end branded tour experience including spatial design of Ocean Lodge hotels, and Ocean College Dive Centre (Sharm El Sheikh).

I'm highly self-motivated, conscientious, enjoy new experiences and learning from those around me.

I travel well, and get on with pretty much everybody.

Design is my passion – but it only makes an impact when it meets real needs and is implemented well. I can write a brief, rally a team, and make sure a project makes a difference.

I enjoy appraising and presenting ideas, and designing or uncovering a solution that nobody else had considered. I know when a piece of work is “good enough” but I’ll never stop pushing for something better.

In the workshop I make models and prototypes, and, on site, I can build a garden room from end to end.

Outside of work I’m a dad, husband, incessant DIYer, and overconfident DJ. I’m good at rythym guitar, and useless at Poker. Or am I?
